Ask a Philosophical Counselor

This is my column, where subscribers or visitors may pose a philosophical counseling question, describe a philosophical issue, conflict, or problem they face, or simply request clarification of some philosophical idea, so long as the request provides the practical context in which the concept, issue, or concern is of real practical importance in their own lives, although this condition may extend into how they might best deal with someone else. I try to answer all of those requests that satisfy the above condition and the condition that I feel competent and comfortable to offer wise counsel on that particular concern.
